The Rose Room

The Rose room is on the ground floor, with tall windows rising to reach the original 1865 plaster moldings that frame the 10 foot high ceiling. This elegant yet cozy room is furnished with a queen size canopied four poster bed, ornate fireplace, period armoire and chest of drawers and an oversize armchair with ottoman. Views from the large windows overlook the garden and water views of the Arshamamoque inlet in its park like setting to the South and West. A color scheme of soft blues and an antique collection of blue and white china displayed on the mantelpiece and decorative prints of tall ships, landscapes and roses compliment the tranquil mood. The large, private, newly renovated attached bathroom features a six foot jacuzzi tub with shower.
